Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies and local-storage technologies used by LODE (lode.fm), in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021 on cookies and other tracking tools.
1. Technical cookies only
LODE uses technical cookies exclusively, required for authentication to work: the session cookies of the authentication system (Supabase), set as first-party cookies.
- No profiling cookies.
- No third-party trackers.
- No analytics, whether first- or third-party.
Because only technical cookies are used, under the aforementioned Guidelines no consent banner is required: this notice — always reachable from the application footer — is sufficient.
2. Cookies used

«<project>» is the technical identifier of the Supabase project; all service cookies carry the sb- prefix.
3. Local storage (not cookies)
Some preferences and functional data live exclusively on the user’s device and are never sent to our servers:
- localStorage: interface preferences (e.g. visualizer settings, completion of the intro tour, MIDI mapping);
- IndexedDB: references to the user’s local music files, used by the library. The audio files and their references remain on the device.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Since the cookies used by LODE are exclusively technical, deleting them logs you out of your account and blocking them prevents access.
5. Changes
Any future introduction of measurement tools or other cookies will entail an update to this notice and, where required, the collection of consent. Questions: legal@lode.fm.
